let's make education better
by making better edtech
This February, we will be powering Reimagined LABS. The MENA edtech lab.

Our partners at ReimaginED Collective have asked us to power their MENA edtech lab. We will support 15 early-stage startups building products that are aiming to innovate learning or teaching using our collective expertise in supporting founders of teaching and learning innovations.
The programme is equity free and requires a $500 investment to partially cover backend and technical expenses, but there are a number of fully and partially funded places available. If you need a scholarship, please mark it in your application. All activities will be held virtually over a 7-week schedule. Induction will be held on 13 February '23 and attendance is mandatory.

Our programmes trains in evidence-based entrepreneurial practices, using methods developed at the University College London and perfected through hundreds of entrepreneurs.

Who is this programme for?

  • Early Stage Startups (including pre-seed): become investment ready.

  • Advanced Startups (including Series A): prove and improve your business.

Deadline is 3 February 2023. The selection process and interviews take place on a rolling basis.

our partners

A thesis-driven, founder-focused Venture Studio for seeding and scaling education technology ventures poised to create global educational impact, starting with the MENA region.

The studio is driven by three principles: first, that education technology (edtech) built by entrepreneurs who have a deep understanding of local conditions and context is best positioned to radically improve outcomes for learners in the MENA region; second, that the GCC member states’ push to build entrepreneurial ecosystems will be accelerated by a focused effort to nurture local entrepreneurial talent and networks focused specifically on edtech; and third, that success in addressing the first two principles will reduce the burden on ailing public systems by creating exciting and innovative ventures, in turn, making a dent in the youth unemployment crisis in the MENA region, the highest in the world at 27%.

Network & Resources - Our partnership opens up two way opportunities to help entrepreneurs build the next generation of online learning, analytics, and management solutions.

AWS EdStart is designed to enable EdTech startups to move faster through benefits such as equity-free financial support through AWS Promotional Credit, technical training and support, access to a global community of EdTech experts, and more.
